Life Plan

Me in 3 months

Me in 3 years

 Paradigms and principles reflection
1.Which of the 7 Habits do you think will be most difficult for you and why?
Begin with the end in mind, because I am not good at defining and creating my goals.

2.What is the difference between and Paradigm and a Principle? Give an example of each to help explain your answer.
A paradigm is your point of view, belief, or perceptions.

3. Give an example of a paradigm of self that helps you.  Give an example of a paradigm of others that hinders you.
I belive that if you are nice to people in your life, people will be nice with you at some point. Many people think that I am a very quiet and shy person.

4. Do you think you are stuff-centered?  Why or why not?
No, because I don’t really think or care about the material things in my life.

5. What would you say are your 5 strongest principles?
Friend, stuff, work, sports/hobbies, self.

6. Give a quote of phrase that you like to live by.
Enjoy life today, yesterday is gone and tomorrow may never come.
One little fishy told me one day to just keep swimming.

7. Pick 3 of the Baby Steps at the end of Part 1. Do them five days in a row.  Write a short reflection about what you did and how it made you feel.
Treat others as I want them to treat me. Show appreciation to someone’s point of view. The next time you look at the mirror say something positve to youself.

How does it mean to be proactive?
1. I had a lot of homework, but I didn’t give up and just keep doing it.
2. I always think about what would happen next if I do something, before acting.
3. Mostly of the time, I stay calm, cool and in control.

Mission statement
I will always have faith and believe in God.
I will always have family unity.
I will always have time for my true friends when they need me.
I will pass whatever obstacles life puts me through, but I will never give up.
I will maintain my possitivity no matter the situation.

Put first things first
I think that the quadrant that most describes me is number three, because I get destracted really easy. But also I think that some parts of the quadrant number one describe me as well, because many of the time I leave things at the last moment. I think I need to improve in both quadrants.

Problem-based Learning

I felt really satisfying writting this letter, because I express everything, how I felt and what I think about this person in especific.

1. What are the four steps of PBL? Which of the define, design, do and reflect steps did your team to the best. Which steps could be improved for our next next class challenge and how? The four steps are define, design, do and reflect. My team and I did best the do step, because we easily took the pictures and finished the activity. S a class we can improve the define step because we didn't exactly knew what to do.

The lip sync battle was a really fun experience. We laughed a lot with all the dances that everyone did. Everyone did a great job. Some of my classmates participated. And they won second place. It was really entertaining to watch everyone performing. Also the rally was really fun. We had a lot of fun spending time with our friends and classmates.

PERMA reflection

PERMA is an acronym for a model of well-being put forth by a pioneer in the field of positive psychology, Martin Seligman. According to Seligman, PERMA makes up five important building blocks of well-being and happiness:
  • Positive emotions – feeling good
  • Engagement – being completely absorbed in activities
  • Relationships – being authentically connected to others
  • Meaning – purposeful existence
  • Achievement – a sense of accomplishment and success
Positive emotions are among the many components that make up happiness and well-being, and one of the more obvious layers of happiness.
Pleasure relates to satisfying bodily needs like hunger, thirst, or taking a long sleep after a tough day, enjoyment comes from intellectual stimulation and creativity.
Enjoyment in action when we observe children screaming with delight as they run and skip in the mud, or build snowmen and throw snowballs at each other. Enjoyment also involves being intellectually challenged and standing up to it.

Conference
On Thursday, november 12, 2015, Juan Jose Saldaña, gave us a conference called "Amor, audacia y aventura. Construye una biografía y haz historia". In this conference, this man told us about his life, and that he was going to get married. He was doing all of the thing that his future wife wanted. He was making her happy. Also he told us about life, and that life is about making others happy. Because making other people happy, makes you happy. He gave us motivaton to think about our lifes. Also, he told us not to be scared of telling people what you feel or think. It was a really good and entertaining conference and I liked it a lot.

Questions

My school started in the Instituto Senda del Norte . My parents chose this school for its high academic standards , good teachers, and known people . At my school, all of my teachers were friendly and nice people. Also I like this school, because it was an only-girls school, there were no boys . This was very comfortable for me, since I was little and I preferred it that way . I did not like that I only had two classes , English and Spanish . At my school, we were taught many values. Some of them are, respect, honesty , responsibility, strength, gratitude, service, solidarity , discipline, joy, tolerance and justice . some of the most important rules are, ignoring teachers or disrespecting them.

I started attending school, when I was like 4 or 5 years old. I can´t remember,but i don´t
think I cried on the first day. I can´t remember anything of my first day of school. I didn´t have any problem to learn the alphabet, to read or to write. I didn´t have any note of conduct, or a report. I sure liked to go to school. In recess, I used to play with my friends every single day. That is my best memory. My teachers were really nice during all of my school years. I didn´t had any difficulty to enter the school.

My spanish teacher in 6th grade was the best teacher during elementary. During elementary, I had many friends. Since my school was an only-girls school, we all liked each each other, and we used to play or to do stuff on the afternoons. I have always got good grades, butspecially in math. In some way,I kind of like it.

My school started in the Instituto Senda del Norte (7th grade) . Then, during 8th grade, I studied in North Bay, Canada. And in 9th grade, I was in Instituto Senda del Yaqui. My parents chose this school for its high academic standards , good teachers, and known people. Also, I had been there all my elementary school. At my school, all of my teachers were friendly and nice people. Also I like this school, because it was an only-girls school, there were no boys . This was very comfortable for me, since I was little and I preferred it that way . I did not like that I had only one classroom, and that teachers just went there when their class would start. At my school, we were taught many values. Some of them are, respect, honesty , responsibility, strength, gratitude, service, solidarity , discipline, joy, tolerance and justice . Some of the most important rules are, ignoring teachers or disrespecting them.

I started attending school, when I was like 12 or 13 years old. I didn´t cried on the first day.

My spanish teacher in 9th grade was the best teacher during junior high. During junior highI had many friends.  I have always got good grades, but specially in math. In some way,I kind of like it.

I chose to study at Prepa Tec, because it is a really good school, actually it is the best high school in the city. The easiest thing are all the platforms thy use, they are easy to understand, and the hardest thing, is to get good grades like I used to when I was younger. To take the admission test, I went to some courses, to prepare myself and get a good grade.

In  my first semester, math was one of the easiest subjects, and history one of the hardest. I made a lot of new friends, from othes schools. My parents are more flexible with my grades, they don´t ask for high grades as they did years earlier, because they know that I´m having a hard time, and that I´m putting a lot of effort, and they know thai it is difficult to get good grades at Tec.

I practice volleyball. I like a lot this clasess, because I forget about everything, and just work out, and play, and enjoy the class.

For my parents, school is really important. Since I need to know many things, and study hard, to get a carer and a job in the future.

This three experiences have changed my life, first, going away to studyin a different country, participating in a big play during my last year of junior high, and on the same year, getting an excellence, because of my good grades, and behavior.
